All Our Encounters Have a Meaning

There was a book that changed the way I looked at encounters between people. In The Celestine Prophecy, James Redfield explores the deeper meaning behind these encounters. The author suggests that every encounter happens for a reason. That when someone enters your life, they bring something with them: a message, a lesson, or an experience that can transform you. And that, at the same time, you may also have something to offer in that person’s life.

This same idea inspired the television series Touch, starring Kiefer Sutherland, where each episode shows a chain of seemingly random coincidences that ultimately connect people and help resolve unfinished situations.

After many years of looking at life through this perspective, I am convinced that every encounter leaves a mark and offers a lesson.

Sometimes we move too quickly and fail to see the meaning behind these “coincidences.” We continue on our path as if nothing happened. And yet, perhaps life was bringing us the answer to a question we had been carrying inside for a long time. A question we are often not even aware we have until we encounter an answer that deeply touches us.

Believing that chance is the most elegant way God (or the Universe) has of remaining unnoticed, I invite you to pay attention to the small coincidences that appear along your path. To look at encounters with others as possible messages, as symbols that arrive to reveal something to us.
